Hawk Tickets buys Iowa Hawkeye football tickets from students. This policy explains what we collect when you sell tickets to us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Your first name and mobile phone number
  • Your payout account (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or Apple Cash handle) so we can pay you
  • Order details: the game, number of tickets, price, and order status
  • Basic site usage (pages viewed, steps completed) and a referral code if you used one

We never ask for card numbers, bank account numbers or your Hawkeye Sports password.

How we use it

  • To process your sale, confirm we received your tickets, and pay you
  • To text you about your order (see Text messages below)
  • To answer your questions and prevent fraud
  • To keep basic business records

Text messages (SMS)

When you enter your phone number and check the box agreeing to receive order text updates, we text you about that order. If you check the separate optional box, we may also text you when we're buying tickets for future games. That box is never required to sell.

We do not sell, rent or share your phone number or your text-message opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the provider that delivers our texts, solely to send them.

Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Full details are in our Terms & SMS policy.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal information. We only share it with services that help us run Hawk Tickets:

  • Our website host and database provider, which store order records
  • Our text-messaging provider, which delivers order texts
  • The payment app you choose, when we send your payout

We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your contact information at any time.

  • Reply STOP to stop all texts from us
  • Text us to see, correct or delete the information we have about you
